About openings of new areas, breaches in conceptual and architectural walls, reinventing other spaces, but most of all our perception as inhabitants of the city as a common good: Beta 2022.

From physical preparations and debates of ideas, from concept to concrete, the fourth edition of the Timisoara Architecture Biennale opens the doors of a palace: Stefania Palace in Traian Square. And in case you didn’t know it, you live in a place of contrasts, but above all, a place where relevant and topical global themes are applicable locally, responding to the needs of the Timisoara community. In an invitation to make public space our own, we as citizens are invited through Beta 2022 to take on an act of civic responsibility.

Therefore, on the 23rd of September, we are opening Beta 2022, as well as the space of the former Timis Complex in the Stefania Palace, also known as the “Monkey House”, which will house the indoor component of the exhibition “Another Breach in the Wall”.

And because it’s with joy, after the short presentations about the program of the biennial and the exhibition, we are waiting for you at the concert and party with Blazzaj and Noemi Szabo – DJ set.

With the doors open, openings and reinterpretations will be what the three weeks of appropriating the city as a common good will be about.
